When my son was about 18 months old, he was obsessed with this video. We played it every single night for a year and a half. Donny Osmond sang my son to sleep every night

My family and I watched this the night we learned my grandma had passed away and now we watch it every year on her anniversary to celebrate her life because the first time we ever watched it (live on TV) was with her. I have a vivid memory of being propped in front of their old fashioned TV watching it in their living room. Nothing will ever recreate those moments.

i love that Joseph sings the first half to Jacob. it shows that despite growing and humbling himself, he still learned a lot from and owes a lot to his father. it’s amazing.

Donny Osmond played Joseph in Toronto for three years. I volunteered at the theatre it played at, and I was fortunate enough to see him perform the show three times. He was really good and he’s such a nice person. I was there the night he did his final performance, and there was not a spot in the theatre that was left empty. People were sitting on the staircases, and in the isles. That’s how popular he was.

Back on 1993 my girlfriend at the time was living in a Chicago and she dragged me to the production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, I went of course, but I loved it and am still listening to this song in 2023
