The Last Duel, Nightmare Alley, Don't Look Up etc...looks like these films with star studded casts are no longer connecting with mainstream fans.

I LOVED Nightmare Alley. May be my favorite Del Toro, and certainly top 5 of the year. I knew it was gonna bomb...but damn it hurts.

Glad No Way Home is doing so well. I enjoyed the movie, but I just can't get over the major plot problems (particularly with Dr. Strange's spell)

Had a ton of fun with No Way Home, but I'm not sure saying it saved the box office is really the right take away. If people are only going to go to the theater to watch a certain type of movie, completely shutting out and diluting the box office of other of films, that's a monopoly.

I think what this proves its not so much COVID-19 keeping people away from theaters as it is apathy for the cinematic experience and films that aren't recognizable franchises. And thats really unfortunate.

Waiting 10 months was worth it, Everyone thought Endgame broke the number 1 box office but no way home definitely took the cake that was literally something unforgettable.
