It kind of makes sense that this Peter has a slight fear of heights. Unlike other Spideys, he seems to still operate exclusively in Queens, and he doesn’t mess with tall buildings. He hasn’t had his “leap of faith” moment. Even during civil war the highest he went was as tall as Ant-Man

After watching it countless times I realized there's no such thing as a "better" Spider-man. All 3 movie versions were unique. Many people diss Tom Holland's Spidey for being basically Iron boy, but it's just different take on him. Since his origin story was beaten up to endless boredom in the other 2 versions this is a fresh new look for him, having a kind of a father figure in the eyes of Tony.

The little back and forth between the tour guide and Peter is some of the funniest writing in this movie.

Y’know, I don’t get why people complain about this Spider Man having gadgets as if it were a negative about the movie. He always had gadgets in the comics and no one complained then. It just seems like a nitpick fueled by nostalgia blindness.
