Adobe Premiere Rush Review - October 2018 Release

So Adobe has embraced the magnetic timeline philosophy that Apple has championed (and also copped a lot of criticism for) since the introduction of Final Cut Pro X. Very cool cloud based technology though.

Rush runs smoothly for you? It crashes a lot for me. I like it. It has a lot of promise for folks like me who are hobbyists.

Tried Premiere Rush on windows and was not really impressed by it. Currently Premiere elements is way better and cheaper too. Rush is like €12.99 euro per month that is over €150 per year! Premiere Elements is a one time purchase that costs only €99 or €150 bundled with Photoshop Elements. For a small youtuber like me Premiere Elements is great. In it’s expert mode it can do more then Rush and it runs better on older hardware. Also I couldn’t find an option in Rush to actually save a project to the harddrive, it seems you have to commit to cloud storage. Actually I think Adobe’s managment don’t realize how good their elements products are. Maybe a little bit too good?

No they definitely make it up. I haven't worked at a single studio that uses any of the Cloud type services.
