These Portal 2 Speedruns are... Different.

In the middle of some research for a video, I found some... interesting speedruns in the Category Extension section of Portal 2. I desperately want to know the origins of these.

the fun thing about speedrunning is that you can just invent a category, and if so you get to define all the rules. Now it just comes down to if other people will run your category.

There's the iJustine run for Portal 1 I know about which has some of the most Out there rules I've seen.

I kid you not, this is one of the Official Rules:

7.) After each loading zone you must run a random number generator between 0 and 10. Anything over 3 you must add to your Mouse sensitivity. Getting a 0 allows you to reset your sensitivity. After each loading zone, if the number generated is less than 5, you must turn on Reverse Mouse Direction (including when 0 is generated). If it is greater than or equal to 5, you must turn off reverse mouse direction.

The rule after this is the R key must spawn at least ONE BIRD and it can be a bird of your choice. I highly recommend looking into it, it's as batshit insane as it sounds.
