21:09 I feel like this is supposed to be like "wow, he can feel that the MC has changed since the MC regained his memories". But that doesn't make any sense. Everyone has changed dramatically. They have been released from their slave contracts. The old man saying the MC has changed means nothing. Like "duh, his emotions, ideas, and actions used to be regulated. Now they aren't". If anything the MC has changed a lot less than most of the slaves. Many of them went from wholesome ppl to their original criminal mindset.

17:51 why inject an isekai backstory into this? The author better actually use his backstory a lot or else it is pointless. Idk why so many stories force isekai into them. Most "isekai" are really just fantasy stories and gain nothing from being isekai, because the author doesn't use their past much at all.

I don't get why his friend left him. Because he hesitated for a second? Just drag him with you. And if you have to leave him why make it like it's a final goodbye? Just tell him that the sooner he leaves the better. Eventually the chaos will die down and he will lose his chance to run. Tell him that you will wait for him outside (if they know what the outside looks like she could even give him a specific landmark). Then just wait. If he never shows up then that's that. But there is no reason to push him away just because he hesitated for a second.

It all seems very contrived from the author. Just forcing the plot to go the way he wants even if it doesn't make sense. The author could make them split up in a less contrived way if the author really wants them being apart as an important part of the story.
