"I'm just an actor, I don't know. It's in the script."
He's so smart to know how little he knows! Brilliant.

Omfg how beautifully poetic. "A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool".

This is gold, he is describing genuine spirituality, nothing other than a mind in awe of the unfathomableness of life and the universe.

I wish we could clone this man. I feel he is part of a very small group of special, honest and non analytical men. He graces us with worldly words.

This man is not only a great actor, but also a wise man who has seen in himself the growing seeds of personal self-destruction. Always a pleasure to watch him, to listening to him, to learn from him. He's a National Treasure. May he live for thousand years.

What is pretty unique is that he’s not being disingenuous or feigning humility. He is however wrong. He is special. His outlook on life and his words are effortlessly profound and brilliant. His performances as an actor are mesmerising. And his all round character is everything any person would hope to be.
He is really a one off. And we are lucky to have been here to enjoy him.

I wish there were more people like Anthony Hopkins in the world. He's so intelligent and yet so humble at the same time. Not just the best actor but possibly one of the greatest human beings to walk this earth. I'd love to meet you Sir Anthony.

A truly great man, a life lesson every time he talks.

“The ego is the most dangerous part of us. The ego is the enemy.”
Boy I’ll bet he gets lots of nods and smiles whipping that truth out at Hollywood parties. 😂

Sir Anthony has always fascinated me. A modern day philosopher. He's got a profound depth of soul & has a better understanding of life than he gives himself credit for. Ego is indeed our enemy & this "life" on earth is all about experience & learning.

He's more energetic than I thought.

To be this age, have this much success as he has and still be a sane grounded individual is truly marvellous. I wanna be like this if and when I'm his age.

Thanks for posting this beautiful interview. Modern society has ceased to value the wisdom of our elders.

Following the professional career of this man throughout the years is astonishing. But Tony Hopkins as a person and his view on basic topics of how to live a life is just outstanding. He has so much honesty and this just makes me happy. All the best to this human!
