Great video guys love your videos. I have the X-MAXX 6S V1 and was thinking about buying the ezrun max 6 to run it with 8S. Is there anything else I should upgrade? I looked for the 8S diffs and shafts but are very expensive. I don’t want to pay another $300.00 dollars for a complete kit if I don’t really need it. What’s your opinion?

What for fan is that on the motor, in grabbing the max6 for my 6s xmaxx and will need the fan I do believe

Motor temp was 215 degrees. Won’t that damage the motor if you run it that hot?

Love the video mate got a xmaxx myself I'm pretty happy with the speed but I would like to upgrade the torque as I pull the kids in a wagon etc with it would you recommend just upgrading the pin gears or would your recommend the 8s upgrade also would be grateful for a second opinion from someone who has experienced using 8s . Hmm hobbywing said the max6 on 8s is compatible with motors under 1200kv but the stock 8s xmaxx is 1275kv. I heard this can cause the batteries to puff?

Hows the esc been holding up? Ive just had to replace my stock traxxas esc because it crapped out on me, im hoping the max6 will be far more reliable!

Hello. Question. I have the 8s Xmaxx and the stock esc just went up so I am going to put a max6 in it. What I was wondering is do I have to do a lot of programming to get it to work or is it pretty easy to do. Also do I need anything else besides the max6 itself.

Hi, I am thinking of getting a stock x maxx 6s and putting this esc inside and running it on 8s. Is it ok? Or will the motor overheat? Or do I need cooling fans? And can the stock drivetrain handle that 8s power or do I have to upgrade? Because I don’t think that the upgrade kit is worth it.

i think the hoobwing esc is more dependable the castle xlx or xl2 and it has power up the ass

HAH!!! im not the only one who went with ec5. There was no way i was soldering those huge wires to a tiny little traxxas connecter pin.

Can anyone tell me if the Max 6 suffers any thermal shutdowns? My 8s esc gets too hot like every 10 minutes :(

This is the reason I didn't bought the x maxx because I know I'll have to upgrade it, if there will be a kit version for 700$ I'll take it. Leopard 5892 1090kv and max6 sounds allot better lol
