Love these things, in a few years I think something like this will be right in my wheelhouse...but sadly gone by then due to slow sales in the US, and that means not many in the used market either. It's a shame because VW finally put the correct powertrain in these things (Golf R engine + 7 speed dsg) to make it a proper sports sedan. I think 2023 may be the last model year here. Iirc under 15k sold last year...not good🙈They are a bit pricey, but still undercuts the Audi A4 by a fair bit similarly equipped...and I think the Arteon looks better, at least on the outside.
I love the great American roadtrip and I think an R-line 4motion Arteon (with 18" wheels, leave the 20" wheels at home) would make the perfect road tripper for me and my gf...plenty of luggage space.
