"I've always loved the talents of Vanity as well as Jesse Johnson. Discovering this cool, funky, Minneapolis Sound song, "Undress" back in the day, which was produced by Jesse was unexpected and great. Such an infectious groove and song.

Vanity had already been solo for awhile by this point, having left Vanity 6 and the Prince camp, just before filming began for "Purple Rain". She had quite the tumultuous life post Prince leading her to be a born again evangelist later in life. She died the same year as Prince. Luckily I got to see a sermon of hers at a church in Pasadena a few years before she passed away.

I found rare performance footage of Vanity performing "Undress" with dancers from a European TV show and thought by re-editing it, I could make it fit nicely with the audio. I loved how the male dancers did their thing around her as she performed. Too cool. The song deserves more people to hear it. Hopefully, my video mix achieves that." - Myles
