How to choose modules at UNISA (Semester modules & Yearly Modules) | Choose Pre & Co-requisites

In this video, you will learn how to choose your modules at UNISA when doing the online registration for 2022. You will also learn the difference between the co-requisites and pre-requisites modules at UNISA. Please note registrations at the UNISA closing date is 24 January for semester modules, 7 March for yearly modules.

🔹Co-requisite: Module A is a co-requisite for Module B. You want to register for Module B, but have not yet passed Module A. You must then register for both Modules A and B simultaneously. You may NOT cancel your registration for Module A unless Module B is also canceled.

🔹Pre-requisite: If Module A is a pre-requisite for Module B, you must pass Module A before you may register for Module B.

⏩You may not register for more than the allowed maximum number of credits/modules per academic year and/or semester: 60 credits per semester or 120 credits per academic year.

⏩The maximum number of credits does not include supplementary and/or aegrotat examinations from a previous semester. Modules taken for non-degree / non-diploma purposes also count towards the maximum number of credits allowed.
⏩Applicants (new applicants & Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification) may only register if they have received an offer of placement from Unisa and have accepted the offer online. Unisa reserves the right to not process and/or to cancel your registration if it is found that you were incorrectly admitted to a qualification.
⏩Re-registering students must register for the 2022 academic year during the relevant registration period.
⏩ The university provides all registered students with a free myLife e-mail address. It is your responsibility to activate your myLife e-mail account as soon as your registration has been finalized. Your myLife e-mail account will be the only e-mail account recognized by Unisa for official correspondence to and from the university and will remain the official primary e-mail address on record at Unisa.

This might be out of context but with 13 outstanding year modules can one successfully register or do they have to take an additional year to complete the remaining 3 modules
