To enable end-to-end encryption in Facebook, specifically in Messenger, follow these steps. End-to-end encryption is a security method that ensures only you and the recipient can read your messages, not even Facebook or Meta.

To enable it, tap on the three lines option at the top left of the screen, and then tap on the gear icon to access settings. Once in the settings menu, go to **Privacy and Safety**. There, you’ll see an option for **End-to-End Encrypted Chats**.

End-to-end encryption in Messenger is tied to **Secure Storage**, so head to the **Message Storage** section and enable it. In my case, it’s already enabled, and you can choose to back up your encryption key to Google Drive, reset the pin, or explore more options if needed. If Secure Storage is turned off, end-to-end encryption will also be turned off.

I hope this guide helps you enable end-to-end encryption. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments below. Thanks for watching, and see you in the next video.
