The coddling of a DUI suspect who just wrecked his car is sickening! They would not treat a member of the public so nicely! We would be arrested and taken to JAIL and have to wait to bond out! This is disgraceful and further cements the US vs THEM mentality of the police!

That cop is clearly drunk and the lieutenant is like “haha it’s ok just go ahead and go home anyway”. Once again proves, its rules for thee but not for me.

So he’s clearly drunk, causes an accident, and the lieutenant basically treats this as no big deal and even lets him go? Wow. If this were any of us….we’d be locked up immediately (and rightfully so)

Growing up a cops kid, I watched dad walk away from 3 separate DUI accidents by flashing his badge. At 10 years old I became his "backup driver". Got stopped twice - kid behind the wheel. Flashed his badge with a drunken smile and off we went, another 15 miles to home. That's when I really learned about LEO hypocrisy.
