Cheap (And Vegan!) Alternative To Whey Protein Powder

Hey, so if you're like me then Whey Protein Powder doesn't sit with you. I read up online and have come up with a Vegan Protein Powder alternative that actually turns out cheaper!

It is Pea Protein Isolate, and this alone would be a fine alternative. I combine it with Brown Rice Protein in a ratio of 2:1 Pea:Rice but as someone pointed out, as long as my diet contains regular servings of brown rice (which it does) then I don't really need to make this blend.

Note the taste is BAD. Think really, really earthy with almost a sand-like gritty texture. I chop up an apple and add it in the blender with my protein powder plus a decent amount of water (300ml).

If i'm having a breakfast smoothie i'll chuck in 50g raw oats, maybe 30g peanut butter and a teaspoon of cinnamon (lowers blood sugar) which is a great start to the day.
