When you purchase an expired domain you have two options when it comes to the content.

You either restore the old content or just build a new website on it.

Back when Bradley started developing this method he used to do both, first restoring the old site and then building a new one but after a while, he opted for just building a new website.

There wasn’t a significant benefit from restoring the old content and it was more work than creating a new website.

But this is by no means meant to discourage you from doing one, the other, or both.

As we always say, you should test to see what performs the best for your specific case!

In episode 446 of our weekly Hump Day Hangouts, one participant asked if Bradley restores the expired domain from the wayback machine first or build the website straight to it.

The exact question was:

re - using an expired domain and building an auto blogging website , its a great idea

just one question , do you restore the expired domain from the wayback machine first or just build the website straight on the expired domain
