Nigella Lawson is very inspiring.
I prefer the vegetarian version and I would have to substitute the avocado with mango slice. No sauce. Orange juice. No chili. We don't have it in Brazil. I would use pepper jam or one sweet pepper. I also would add chopped mint leaves and olive oil.

Black rice is easy to find, but it's a little expensive.

This salad would be delicious with caramelized onions.
