Three months into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, US President Biden has insisted the war is a "global issue".

He said the war "is going to affect all parts of the world" during a summit with the Quad - composed of Japan, the US, Australia and India.

It comes as Luhansk governor Serhiy Haidai has said Russian troops continue to bombard the cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk in Ukraine's east, as part of a bid to control the wider Donbas area.

Russia's end goal is simple. They want to maintain their influence and control over the oil and grain supply of Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Part of why Putin is obsessed with the Donbas is the recently found oil and natural gas reserves in that area, which are large enough to make the EU independent from Russian oil and would remove a lot of Russia's ability to coerce compliance out of the EU

While going technical weighing in on a cease-fire or a line of control the admiral gets it right that someone needs to negotiate that at some point. But what is missing is how the country will continue in the long term after its arable lands on the East where the Ukrainians grow crops are taken and the ports are cut off. No one looks into the future and talk about it.

Defeating Russia is the only way to end this war now.
Negotiations, diplomatic discussions, agreements and numerous peace deals, giving concession to Russia, for over 10 years now - is exactly what lead us to this war.
Previous cowardice showed time and again cost us tens of thousands of lives.
