Biden calls for Putin to face war crimes trial after Bucha killings

PRESIDENT Joe Biden promises 'more sanctions' on 'war criminal' Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"This guy is brutal, and what's happening in Bucha is outrageous," Biden told reporters as he returned to Washington after spending the weekend in Delaware.

Ukraine said 50 of some 300 bodies found in Bucha northwest of Kyiv city were victims of extra-judicial killings by Russian troops. Reuters could not verify the report.

Russia said alleged "crimes" by its troops in Bucha were a "provocation" and no resident suffered.
