The way you EXPLAINED everything made me take 4 pages worth of NOTES, something I could never take in online school, public school, or basically anything else, and I did it in a matter of 20 minutes. It's honestly amazing the way you explain everything because it makes the viewer engaged. I respect you for giving us information and expert advice. Thank you for helping us Mr. Bett! 🙌

I know that most people probably don't know or care but the drum sample in the background of the intro is from a song called The Perfect Drug by Nine Inch Nails. Again, I realize that nobody cares but I'm a big fan and I really hope Mr.Betts intentionally did that.
thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

@6:46-Mr Betts, the skyscraper would not have been possible if it wasn't for master mechanic Elisha Otis's invention of a lift safety brake which stopped an elevator from free-falling should the hoisting cables snap. Otis exhibited this invention at the New York Crystal Palace by standing on a hoist platform, demonstrating by having an assistant cut the cable. The brake worked. Otis shouted out, "All Safe". Those watching applauded with a thunderous roar. He started a manufacturing company with his sons which eventually became the world-wide Otis Elevator Company.

Great! Will use this spring. Minor correction: Carnegie's Homestead steel mill was outside Pittsburg not Philadelphia.

I cover all but three of the terms you mentioned in the video! At least I know I am hitting all the major issue. I will use the video with my students as a fantastic review before our unit exam in a couple of week!!! Thanks for everything you do!!!

Hey Mr. Betts - thanks for wearing the Garfield shirt - my students and I are still hopeful you will do that Garfield video someday. Anyway the last name is correctly pronounced with an I sound at the end.
