Circles of Indigo - Dreamsura [pythagorean tuning]

Circles of Indigo is a curation of improvised performances between saxophonist Aiden Solomons and pianist/composer Amelia Huff. The two artists met spontaneously and without saying words, improvised the album Affinity.

Dreamsura is a composition by Amelia Huff from her freshman LP, Dreamsura. Originally, the piece is a chaotic and sprawling 22 minute electronic epic but in 2015, Huff condensed the main theme into a jazz chart for small groups to play. Aiden and Amelia as Circles of Indigo revived the theme and gave it new life. Dreamsura is track 4 on Affinity EP.

I like how Pythagorean tuning sounds like 12EDO up until it suddenly doesn't. Especially when the comma is brought in. (though factors like timbre will play a huge role in how similar or different they will sound)

Two questions.

1. Is the sax able to play in this tuning without computer help? Were alternate fingerings needed?

2. Did you use only local major and minor thirds in this piece or were the diminished fourth and augmented second ever used in place of the major or minor third?
