Great playthrough. I’ve just been getting into this game myself. At 1:14:25 you mentioned you had no side missions to take advantage of Spirit and Freedoms ability, but I do believe the Cobra Battalions themselves are labeled side missions.

Wow I must have played this game wrong as it took forever because if I used joes for a mission I didn’t use them for buying power. I only used cards I didn’t send on missions. I had a very small deck. Glad I watched a play through to see the miss.

at 37:30 End of turn effects like that only go off at the same time as End of Round effects when you're playing true solo. This is from pg. 21 of the rule book as well as several discussions on BGG.
