Joe Biden arrives in Middle East on first trip as US president

Joe Biden has arrived in Israel on the first leg of his first visit to the Middle East as US president.
He was greeted in Tel Aviv by Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.
Biden will also meet with Palestinian leaders in the occupied West Bank.
He has been a steadfast supporter of Israel for decades.
And is expected to face questions about the killing of Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.
Al Jazeera's Kimberly Halkett reports from Doha, Qatar.

@n I believe the U.S. identified, and found the attackers and eliminated them with a retaliatory strike.

I do not recommend my current President (Biden) to similarly retaliate against Israel for an attack decades ago.

A simple official acknowledgement and a public apology to us (the American people) would suffice, in order to correct this past injustice.
