US President Joe Biden arrives in Israel for solidarity visit

US President Joe Biden arrived in Israel on Wednesday for a solidarity visit. During a press meeting alongside Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Biden backed the Israeli claim that Palestinians were responsible for the attack on al-Ahli al-Arab hospital.

The Israeli army has in the past claimed that Palestinians were responsible for atrocities carried out by its forces, including the Israeli killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh last year.

Biden has previously falsely stated that he had seen images of “terrorists beheading children”.
