Why aren't cities building cooling towers like they have in the Middle East? They're built right along the street to drive cooler air down toward the sidewalks. They're also built into homes for natural cooling.

Every business that has employees with jobs that expose them to extreme temperatures and every state needs to get on board with this. I worked in the grocery industry for 30 years and worked for 2 different grocery chains. I very often had to work in different areas of the stores, I trained new employees, managed 2 departments and had worked in different areas, and often, especially during covid or inclement weather was exposed to extreme temps and long hours. The 2 chains I worked for were, Winn Dixie and Publix. Only 1 of those chains addressed this problem from the beginning, that chain was Publix.
