I think it's also really important to consider buying local Lego lots from people as well. I have made my best purchases of all time on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist and local places like that from people just trying to clear things out of their house who aren't tech savvy enough to make an ebay account or just don't want to mess with it.

For smaller collections or people that have A LOT of free space on their walls, I feel that cases are better since they shield the dust from the figures. I keep my collection in cases and I don't have dust problems. Dust acuumulates on the case instead of the minifigures and the case is extremely easy to dust rather than air spraying each figure individually.

Super useful video! My favourite minifigure is probably the maskless Captain America from the civil war black panther pursuit set. It was the first figure I ever ordered online, I really like the look of it, and also I use it a lot in my stop motions
