1. Sahih Muslim, Book 26, Hadith 5451: The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The evil eye is real, and if anything were to overtake the divine decree, it would be the evil eye.”
(Sahih Muslim)

2. Jami' at-Tirmidhi, Hadith 2059: The Prophet ﷺ said: “The evil eye is real. If anything were to overtake the divine decree, it would be the evil eye. When you are asked to take a bath (as a cure) from the influence of the evil eye, you should take a bath.”
(Jami' at-Tirmidhi)

For seeking protection from the evil eye, the following is also from the Sunnah:

It is reported in Sahih al-Bukhari, that the Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge from the evil eye by reciting Surah Falaq and Surah Naas.
