Craft Room tour by Emily of Vintage Polka Dot Shop

Here is my craft room - it's a little messy like me. I have recently reorganized and "tidied" my craft space. I'm hoping the tidy will stick around a little longer this time. I have learned that I need to see what I have and certain things just need to be together to make my crafting life easier.
This video is a little awkward and you may need some Dramamine to watch it.
I hope that how I store some of my journal making and paper crafting supplies will give you some ideas for your own creative space.
I really enjoy seeing other people's creative spaces and hope you all enjoy seeing mine. I am truly blessed to have the space I have.

Wow, just wow! I can’t believe the amount of stuff you have....where were you able to find it all? So many longaberger baskets...I have never seen so many in one place. Then there is all of the vintage books, cards, doilies, trims, etc. I am lucky to find 5 or 6 doilies a year and never can I find old bingo cards, playing cards, vintage lace, or so many bird and flora books. I could go on and on...enjoy everything you have and I hope you have time to craft and enjoy all of your lovely things, not just collect them. Your hubby must be very supportive! I mentioned this to another crafter who has the same vibe as you: as much as I appreciate those pristine all white IKEA craft rooms, this is truly a crafters room. I love how not everything matches but everything kind of goes together if that makes sense. Beautiful room.

Hey, don't worry about what people think, just enjoy your things. I like the look of it. Most crafters have a lot of things. My mom says mine looks like a store and it's half the size of yours, lol. I love the look of old books on a shelf. I don't really have the heart to tear them up but they make great vintage decor.

Dont worry we all horde something, your very organized so go on you tube and look around . We should never judge and worse of all never condemn yourself for a hobby that you love to do . I live in a tiny appartment and i have every scrapbook supplies everywhere in my bed room, liveing room hall closet etc no place to keep things organized here .... Always be good to yourself.
