hi... on the previous presentation (part 4), you got a mean of 4.29 for thesmokers... but why did you use 4.30 in this video and you said it is 4.33? it's at about 1.07 of this video... I'm confused. cheers

The only question that's bugging me now is why didn't you use the pooled estimate of population variance for your Friday night's formula, but just use the unbiased estimate of population variances? Thanks.

The squared deviations are divided by n-1 to get S^2 then again by n when in the denominator of t, why
