1st launch practically destroyed the launch pad. 2nd launch did damage to a few auxiliaries. The 3rd launch sees static fireing on the pad within weeks of the launch. Amazing how they've overcome pad damagd.

Good stream with extra, off-topic humor, or better yet, wait for the scripted podcast. Ryan and Trevor provide the best commentary, level-headed and straight to the point with great analysis. Jack is a great photographer and hosts with clear, concise, non-technical input. Alex's data analysis from the back channel is top-notch.

The original NCC-1701 (Not "A") was totally the best, as was the crew, and the stories, the best!

I was so wrong about the shower head failing. Early on I predicted it would warp and rupture under the heat of a full launch to the extent that it would need replacement. Nope! Seems to be still going strong even after two full launches and, I think (one two three.. ) four?, static fires. That's an amazing bit of engineering.

Four months from IFT-1 to B9 sf; one month 1.5ish weeks from IFT-2 to B10 sf; three weeks and a day from IFT-3 to B11 sf. That’s wild to me

Just as the group of birds hatched at the same time is called a brood, so the 33 raptors firing at the same time can be called the Brood of Raptors.

The dust they are kicking up is all the west Texas / Mexico dust that blows in and coats everything including the launch tower. It All gets shaken loose and blown about by the exhaust, audio, steam, and vibration from firing the engines.

Most didnt get a microwave till around 1980. Before that it was the same size of a regular oven, and wh had to turn a timer. No push button.

When they test StarShip can you watch for testing the “roll control”? Also did they heat them? Thrusters?

Wonder why they can skip spin primes on boosters but not ships?

I would love to see booster relight the raptor engines reliabley, and a controlled decent. As for ship they still have a raptor engines that so far wont re-light. A controlled re-entry, rather than rolling around. I hope it comes through on the shielded side, and there are tiles that survive all the way.
