I respect that Jack still honestly says “I dont know that” after 64 years of experience.

Jack is by far one of my favorite speakers you’ve “interviewed”. He’s so knowledgeable and I could spend another few hours just listening to him speak. You can see his passion and expertise.

Awesome tour. This guy is definitely an old school collector. As far as his knowledge on Crotalus stephensi taxonomy, he's over a decade behind. Stephensi has been elevated since 2007. They're a much larger species, the head shape and body shape are different than specks, if you've seen enough of them the differences are unmistakable.

Deep cleaned my room today and was going to have a movie night but I couldn’t stop watching this video. Very informative and interesting, and I’m not a snake person. Great video! 👍🏼

Jack apparently worked with Bill Haast at the Serpentarium (a really neat research facility/tourist attraction that was south of Miami). My mother (an RN) nursed Haast after one of his more severe cobra bites and she later took my sister and me to watch him work with (and "milk") a huge king cobra. We kids were more than awed, which is also how I felt during this video. Jack deserves special recognition for continuing Haast's work to ensure effective antivenin is available to those who need it. (Thanks for this 'field trip', Kenan.)

I follow all the reptile channels and this man is easily the safest most professional I have seen. Although I do keep herps, less as I age, mostly I have studied them in the field or in an academic setting. Anyway I could listen to this man for hours. Reminded me of discovering "Snakes the keeper and the kept" in middle school. Great video.

I would watch hours of him talking about venomous snakes! Thanks for showing his beautiful snakes and hard work he does!

Kenan needs to focus more on him actually talking. The man is clear and concise and is a great expert on the subject and I just wish Kenan would focus more on what he was saying and not take him away from the discussion just to focus on seeing the snakes. On the same note, Jack should also let Kenan get more views on the snakes more but this could just be a result from him being a bit overly cautious due to not having had too many people hang out in his lab around venomous snakes, and just wanting to avoid an accident. Great video as always, informative and interesting!

I’d hope I’m as healthy as he is when I’m 71.

Yes!!! I am a woman who thinks the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake is GORGEOUS!!! And I love to hear them rattle.... growing up out in the country of Lake Worth, FL in the '60s & 70's... I saw my share of HUGE diamondbacks!!! Very facinating information!!

Jack Facente, with his decades of experience and matter-of-fact demeanor, clearly sets the standard for presenting scientific information on these interesting reptiles.

Please film more stuff with Jack. This is the kind of reptile education the community needs to be shown.
