Changed mine out a few months ago. It was a pain but man the improved steering is nice.

Those couplers are a pain to change out. Even after putting in a new one, there's often still a slight clunk. 😅

You should still check the u joint in the steering shaft unless you're sure it's coming from that.

Kia I remember when they first came around. We loved em have a auto body/repair shop constant engine issues or transmission

I'm sure you have thousands of hours into getting to where your are to be able to diagnose it that quickly so I hope you're charging them an hour for diagnosis / service call
