We've been on an overland expedition to dive though Central America for the past 254 days. In this episode we show you what it's really like to travel overland full-time. While in route from El Salvador, through Honduras to Nicaragua, we cross 2 international borders, go to a hospital, get a new phone plan and talk budget

Great video. I imagined this part of the world would be very dangerous. I'm planning on visiting Nicaragua, and this video series has relaxed my fears. Also, the videos are just plain interesting.

Almost caught up from bing watching episodes to get to real time posting yay. Really enjoying your channel and your style of travel. Was actually excited to here Matt jokingly say hes a grumpy old man because I too enjoy the less crowded spots that a 4x4 can give ya access to. Its so enjoyable to live vicariously through your adventures until I can get out on one of my own. Thanks so much for the great content, inspiration, and helpful info/ideas!

Thank you for showing the border crossing details. The map of the various buildings and offices at the crossing is helpful.

I live in Nicaragua but am visiting the U.S. and am planning on driving down in around two weeks. My question is, do you have to declare and unload all the stuff from the vehicle in customs at every border? Thanks

How incredible 8 bucks and the kindness they showed you!!! When I drove through the country of Honduras I got a sinus infection and the local clinic saw me and treated me and charged me nothing! Some.loclas at the clinic insisted I come to their home for dinner, was so amazing that someone so poor offered me to the table and what a beautiful meal ! I love Honduras and its people.

Hey guys! Just started watching your videos. So I’m actually trying to drive my Acura TLX from Miami, FL to Managua, Nicaragua. How dangerous is the drive since I’m driving a newer car than most travelers? Also, how much do you think I’ll need for a trip like this? It’s only a one way trip

You didn't do anything in Leon? Hope that you will at some point. Incredible place. My first visit was in 1972! Came back with my Husband in 2004 and really considered retiring there . Great place! Looking forward to more !

From your experience do you think it is safe to drive thru Mexico, El Salvador, and Honduras to get to Nicaragua. You have friends in Nicaragua. Are they "well connected"? Thanks for any advice, Ellard
