Last night I planned to upload the full show but unfortunately, due to legal concerns (DVD release etc) and my audio failing I am unable to do so, so instead, here's the theme music (kind of re-polished) called 'Remember Why We Fell In Love' sung by Julie Covington and composed by none other than Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd-Webber. Don't think this was ever released as a single but if anyone has any better copies, would be great to hear it.

Thanks for uploading the opening titles for series 2 of the George Layton written sitcom Executive Stress putthetellyon1.

A couple of re-casts happened in the second series of Executive Stress with Peter Bowles replacing Geoffrey Palmer in the role of Donald and David Neville replacing Timothy Carlton as Peter Stuart.

Andrew Lloyd Webber fans might recognize that the music was re-used in "Aspects of Love".

Love this theme tune! I wish it was released! Excellent series as well with the fabulous Dame Penelope Keith! Very catchy & beautifully sung! Does sound like it could be from Andrew Lloyd Webbers Tell me on a Sunday. I have bought the series so will keep listening to it on there.

Don't want to push copyright boundaries, it would probably get blocked by Network DVD anyway.

I saw maybe one or two episodes of this in the 80s in America. I guess it must've been broadcast on PBS. The last verse of the song has always stuck with me for some odd reason. It's all so poignant.

Does anyone know if the theme song was ever commercially available?

Imagine being trapped in the 1980s with the likes of this, After Henry, Up The Garden Path, May To December and Fresh Fields on TV. I'd feel like shooting myself. British sitcoms were so twee, uptight and middle-class back then.
