There's this amazing food called Ice Cream, and definitely 10x better than caviar.

If I pay over $300 an ounce for anything, it’s certainly not going to be fish eggs….

I like when Be Amazed change his old videos for new ones, not only more puns are there but you learn some updates and few mistakes that they do

Im from iran, almost 95% of Iranians never eat a single caviar in their whole life because almost all of it gets sended to other countries, though in the northern part where i live people eat trout egg with rice and chicken/beef and i gotta say its real tasty

The thought of eating fish eggs horrified me so I avoided it until adulthood. Finally tried it at a restaurant and I was unimpressed. I'm that 5% of the population who can't taste those subtle flavors in 'delicate' foods so it tasted like nothing. Added a little salt and still tasted borderline okay. I don't under the hype over something so needlessly expensive that has no flavor.

I don't think it is about the taste..it is about the aesthetic and status that comes with it

My Dad and his family liked eating red roe from the mullet fish they'd catch. Fish eggs. Kind of like "redneck caviar" I guess. I never liked it.
When America was first being settled, lobster, goose, duck and other premium foods were cheap and plentiful, considered fit only for lower classes.

I've never had caviare but after seeing this video, I'm no longer curious or interested. Caviare seems pointlessly expensive and I'm pretty sure spices, herbs and sauces do a better job at improving the flavour of food than an ounce of glorified fish eggs. Seriously, it sounds ridiculous

Caviar and foods like it always reminds me of Elzar from Futurama who once said the wise words "that's what rich people eat the garbage parts of the food" I'll never understand it since caviar really isn't that good and i know everyone is different but i think it's more about the fact you're eating something so expensive than it is the actual taste..a lot of times with me .. foods and drinks it's a taste u have to acquire but I've tried it 3 times and Everytime i much rather be eating a big mac or arroz con gandules

As someone with a taste for seafood, caviar always interested me. I finally got to try a bit of the stuff when my dad got me a (very small) tin of it as a Christmas present a few years ago. Not sure exactly which variety it was, but it had a very briny taste to it. It was okay, but not the sort of thing I'd be willing to trade an arm and a leg for on a constant basis.

Anyone else not surprised that they were almost fished to death? I knew it instantly when they started talking about the sturgeons.

@ 1:08 Looks like the roe from barracuda or bonita. My grandmother used to dip the whole egg sac in egg and breadcrumbs and fry it. BEST ever.

I remember 70 years ago, as a kid, when my
parents and I ate sometimes at a nearby
German restaurant in suburban NY, we had
Egg a la Rus, as an appetizer choice 😋 with
a half hard boiled egg on lettuce with Russian dressing and some Caviar on it.
But the meal for my parents and cost only
about $8.00 back then as I remember.

They should make this a series so we can see how expensive stuff is produced

Caviar is an acquired taste like a lot of seafood products. I have obviously never had super high priced stuff but mid-range.
I hated it. Salty hard little fish eggs 🤮
Couldn’t see the fascination.
So call me ‘common’ I guess 😂

I’ve never had caviar don’t think I would want to eat fish eggs. I’ll stick to the chicken’s eggs. Lol 😂
