I already explained why Thor has more power potential than Odin and Thor has already killed a god equal to Odin.

I liked the part where Loki was captured by Iron Man and inside the Jet, there was lightning around them and they told him "What? Afraid of a little lightning?" Loki: "I'm more afraid of what comes after.." Then Thor makes his first appearance and captures Loki off the Jet to threaten to beat his ass for trying to attack Earth. Then Capt. A and Iron Man go after this new person they didn't know of, thinking he was freeing Loki, and Thor and Iron man get in a brawl. But Capt. A interrupts them.

I think the best thing about this movie was that it was a superhero movie that didn't come across too comic bookish. Its a pity first Avenger didn't follow that idea, it might have been much better.

As far as I know, Demi-god means a god with less powers than a normal god. I'm no expert but perhaps Thor lacks some godly powers. I don't know, lets just roll with it because it will be an amazing movie!

I think they meant that when Thor is at the Earth, he just is es demi-god. Or it's because he lost his "godness" for a short time.

Odin is described as "the allfather" he is more powerful than Thor or Loki, but Thor is obviously the one he loves- Mjolnir belongs only to him or "he who is worthy"- they showed that the Hulk couldn't pick up the hammer, but I was hoping that Steve Rogers could. I suspect it might happen in the sequel.

What stops the hulk from being overpowered to the extent of ruining the story is that half of the time, he's so hard to control he's he is a double edged sword you don't wish to have in your team.

Demi means half and Thor is no half god. He's the son of a Skygod, Odin, and Elder Earth goddess, Gaea.

Compare Thor's power to Odin. Odin limits his power, but as you can see from Fear Itself series that Thor is capable of killing Odin powered beings like Odin's brother and his father. Plus Rune Thor is the only one to destroy the High gods that Odin could never defeat.

Yeah, like Marvel is aware that the Hulk lifted Thor's hammer in an anime and that the Destroyer got whooped easily by Thor. Movies, Cartoons and what have you are always in ER.
