Easing keyframes is one of the most essential things you need to know how to do in Adobe After Effects. I really believe you should know how to use the graph editor, both the Speed and Value graphs, to shape the motion you're trying to create, but sometimes that can be a very time-consuming process. Fortunately, there have been a handful of really great third-party tools developed for After Effects that help make easing keyframes much easier and more efficient. In this video, I'm going to share my top recommendations for scripts and extensions to help with easing keyframes in After Effects that I believe are worth your consideration. All of these tools will help you get the motion you're after more quickly. I'll cover what each tool does and then compare them to each other.

I used (Duik - motion4 - Motion Tools 2 - flow - after ease - keystone - kease - ease & wizz - animation composer wings - easy copy) ...
and now i stick with Motion Tools.
Coz it does the job simply and other tools i really nead.
my issue with motion 4 that is its full of tools i donot use often times.
other thing i'd rather scripts than plugins due to the lightness and not consuming resourses that much as plugins do.
After that Motion 4 is still super great plugin.

I like Kease, it offers some great presets and functions and compact ui.
One I use alot is the overshoot preset that even works in shapes and masks keyframes.

Thanks jake.

Because of this video, I bought Motion 4 and used your discount code. Currently, I'm working for a global company where motion videos are becoming more in demand and I need tools to improve my workflow as project deadlines get tighter and tighter. 😵‍💫💫 Thank you for sharing this, Jake!! 💖

Curves looks fantastic, but I really hate that it's just under subscription, would love to see it as a standalone plugin!

AEJuice has an easing copy thing too called (ahem...) "Copy Ease" that also has some easing presets and a keyframe cloning feature. It's free.

It would be nice if AE would fix their own product. The graph hasn't been touched in decades.

Great video. Thanks.
My faves (besides Motion) are Kease and Keystone.

have you ever tried to „abuse“ the FLOW EXPRESSION function in an ease() expression? 😉 try it out and look at the applied expression of flow and then you will know what it is good for and how much power lies in it!

Curves looks really useful, your demo sold me on it and I would have purchased it but the subscription pricing is ridiculous. 13 - 15 USD per month for it, Datamosh 2 (a pretty niche plugin) and a couple of other janky looking effects is terrible. Oh and they also force you to register an account to be able to check out their plans.
