Great video. Being in San Diego I’ve often thought about this. I think a big factor as well is many Indigenous people in present day USA were moved/pushed away more so compared to Mexico and the rest of America Latina. Hence the large Mestizo population, so large that some people use Mexican to describe a Mestizo appearance. There’s a lot of racial disparities and discrimination in all American countries, not just US..which is lost on many ppl. Anyway great vid
