There's an Easter egg with in an Easter egg. The #1 picked episode with Sheldon's dad talking to the nurse. That nurse is played by Vernee Johnson. Everytime the Big Bang characters had to go to the hospital she always played the nurse, including the pilot episode.

Also fun fact regarding the blossom entry, Raj actually mentions both Byalik in a season one episode, to which Leonar says "Raj, we're not getting TV's Blossom on our physics team."

- Mary singing "Soft Kitty" when Sheldon is sick
- Georgie stealing Meemaw's car causing Sheldon to refuse to learn to drive

There are three other major Big Bang connections on Young Sheldon. At the end of last season's Young Sheldon, they've begun to hint around about his dad's impending future infidelity. In the YS episode where Sheldon graduates from high school, there's a voice over of the both the adult versions of Sheldon and Amy, and it's revealed that their son's name is Leonard... also that Sheldon wanted to name him Leonard Nimoy Cooper, but Amy put her foot down on including Nimoy as part of the name. The other thing that's missing from the Ms. Mojo list is in a recent episode, Sheldon is taking a college course in engineering, and the professor is a complete jerk to him. And there's a voice over of adult Sheldon and adult Howard bickering and the realization that the professor is part of the reason why Sheldon didn't respect Howard's engineering degree.

i didn't realised that they show young versions of Raj, Lenard and Emy on that episode on young Sheldon thats and also the small details such as the inhaler and the Raj's teleskopes and Emy's book just amazing work by the creators.

I didn't know about the Blossom Easter egg, that's cool! I'm also not looking forward to losing George Sr. In the big bang they make him seem like this horrible father and husband but in young Sheldon, so far, I love him 🥲

It’s a little bit “disturbing” that:
- The actress who played Sheldon’s Meemaw in TBBT is the same as the lady helped by Georgie with errands and so on in YS;
- The actor who played the bully who tormented Leonard in TBBT is the same as the Sheldon’s father in YS;
- The actor who played Amy’s father in TBBT is the same as who played the pus in YS.

I think other actors played two characters in both series, but at moment I don’t recall them.

The nurse who checks on George Sr. was actually played by Vernee Watson who played the nurse Althea Davis the nurse in the Pilot, the nurse who sees Howard when he eats the granola bar, and the nurse who helps deliver Bernadette's baby.

You didn't mention that Sheldon's mother in TBBT is played by Laurie Metcalf and was played by Zoe Perry on YS. Zoe is Laurie's real life daughter. That's why their looks are somewhat similar.
Laurie starred on the show Rosanne, also starring Johnny Galecki & Sara Gilbert (Leonard & Leslie Winkle on TBBT)

when sheldon and his father go to visit the campus at cal tec. they stop off at the staff canteen and sheldon remarks about how many great intellectual conversations will be had in this room. i got quite emotional, and my little girl asked why, so i had to tell her "thats the table where he sits at with all his friends in the big bang theory", she then went lol
