Precious Moments as Baby Elephant Khanyisa’s Human Mom Gives Her Milk Bottles 🍼

Adine joins Khanyisa for this afternoon’s feeding and steps in to her feed the little elephant her milk bottles. Adine has a few love for the calf, having spent so much time with her over the years since her rescue and rehabilitation. Even though our carers and elephant herd carry much of the responsibility of looking after her, Adine joins in from time to time to her and give comfort and company where she can. As much as elephants never forget, it’s hard for us to ever forget an elephant. They leave a permanent mark on our hearts and in caring for them, the bond is built and cemented for life.
