If someone decides to play only ultra settings and 1440p +, you should know you need latest hi-end gpu to make it 60fps+. For 7yo gpu u just need to move down some settings. So gtx1080 is still good for gaming with a few years margin

Got a gtx1080 which still rocks at 1080p (my monitor res).. Actually wanted a 3080 (where I should have changed my monitor as well) but semiconductors crisis destroyed my intent. So I'm good with my 1080 :D

Even 3080 with 10GB struggles for 4K that need more VRM.
I hope everyone tells them old 8GB is the new 12GB and we need more VRM these days especially if you want to play Triple AAA titles. Believe it or not even 3080 will struggle in newer titles like Howard's legacy especially at 4K as it requires something like 12-14GB for 4K ultra max settings. Next generation of GPU'S shouldn't have 8GB maybe the lowest tier like 3050/4050 but anything on 3060/4060 or above should be 12GB+ 4060 should be 10GB at the very least while 4060Ti should be 12GB+ and 4070/4070Ti 16GB minimum 😤

Not entirely sure about your system or in-game settings -- I have an i5-12400 and a 1080 Ti, and get 59fps in Cyperpunk on High graphics.
