It's such a gut punch when I hear this. I cried like a baby the night he died and then when I listened to this the same night, I had to be consoled by my wife. CC was such a huge part of my life in the early 90s up to the night he passed. Rest easy CC. No one sings like you anymore.

Chris had one of the best registers of any singer. His lows and highs only rivaled prince. Both had such massive tones and it sucks they’re both gone. I’m just happy I was able to grow up listening to their greatness. RIP chris

My brother was 31 & died 2 weeks before Chris. Hearing this version is so beautiful and so heartbreaking. My brother had also planted daisies in my moms backyard before he left and not long after he died they died.😭😢😭
