Well said Toni... I have listened to this song over and over. I know your pain is unbearable. I spent my first Father's Day without my baby daughter Cassidy. She was 21 and had her whole life ahead of her. Her life was taken by a Takata airbag about the same time that your Dad passed.

Music, including your Dad's was such a HUGE part of our lives. We turned each other on to so much music. There was no genre that was off limits. When she was 2, I turned her onto Louis Armstrong, Sound Garden, Metallica, Ramones, etc... She turned me onto Barney's Yum Yum Pumpernickle, Pumpernickle Bread. Eventually she turned me onto so much cool music. Her love for music never stopped.

What you and your Dad had was beautiful and special. It can't be taken away from you. He was a great man. I know a Father's love. Nothing compares to you or Cassidy... I'm told we will eventually be OK.

Although we are at opposite ends, the loss and longing for 1 more hug and 1 more kiss is the same. I wish you were here so I could give you a hug. Please take care of yourself. Hug and kiss your family every chance you get.
