Broken N64 Controller Repair and Upgrade | Restoration ASMR

ASMR and Repair! I purchased a broken N64 controller for a few bucks on eBay. It was extremely dirty, as well as broken in a few places. I took this opportunity to use a GameCube style analog stick as a replacement for the original.

I hope you make some more RGH video's from X360 with solder points visible. Oh and a proper Nintendo DS Lite soldering tutorial. Most of them are with quite poor video due to the age of the console.

Have you considered doing anything on the original Xbox?
Not only do they suffer from a lot of problems but they also have a great deal of possible hardware mods/upgrades.

I've never owned a Nintendo 64, but I played Derby64 on an N64 emulator on a XBOX, funny isn't it?

It is rumored that the Gamecube analog stick that you used cannot be used in finer aim games such as Goldeneye. Is this correct?

There is website where you can buy the replacement part for your original stick and ends up like brand new with most of your joystick original and work like new, the gamecube analog stick sucks big time, I wouldn't go that rute.

I bought a red controller and replaced the joystick. The problem is my left button is spongy. I replaced the rubber piece under it and still no improvement. Any suggestions??
