Rewatching Tokyo Ghoul for the second time and I gotta say it doesn’t get enough credit.

It’s got a clever idea which is rare nowadays and it’s got good characters and plot but what makes it amazing is the fact that we get to see both sides, humans and ghouls and their struggles. Humans are living in fear of becoming prey to another ghoul and ghoul are afraid of being hunted solely because of what they are. You get to see great characters on both sides and when they celebrate, cry, and everything else. It really makes picking a side difficult.
