Hi friends! I've had a lot of questions about the weight of my mess kit, so here it is!

*Kettle, stove and windscreen: 11.4 oz
Bowl: 4.7 oz

*For comparison, a Jet Boil Flash system weighs 13.1 oz.
I separated out the weight of the bowl because I don't carry it if I'm rehydrating in a bag. Hope this helps! - Miranda

I instantly bought this kettle the first time I saw you use it. I LOVE it and it has changed my backpacking game! THANK YOU!

You can also fit a sea to summit collapsible cup into the center of the collapsed kettle. I can also keep lots of other items in that space too. Ex - a lighter, a small wipe cloth, a lipstick tube filled with camp suds, hand soap sheets, etc. When all stored down into the kettle, that fits perfectly into the lid space of any BearVault bear canister. Bear safe and plenty of room left for sweet, delicious food!

I probably won't use that configuration myself, but I wouldn't stop anyone else. It has advantages.
