Japan’s president took the word servant of the people literally.

“The Japanese are well educated, despite not being able to speak English” probably the most underrated joke in the whole video

I can't believe you didn't touch on Japan's innovative approach to enforcing speed limits on roads, Hugbees. In Japan, the police don't have cars, so the nation relies on its strong street racing culture to keep its drivers in line. If you go above the posted speed limit, you are inviting any nearby street racers to challenge you to a race on the spot, as they seek to increase their street cred by besting any potential opponent they come across. Backing down from the challenge or losing a race is a serious blow to your cred, and since only well-established racers have the cred to afford the occasional loss, the average citizen has no choice but to comply with posted speed limits. If your cred drops to 0, your family will have to disown you because of the shame you have brought upon them, unless of course you commit sudoku to redeem yourself, which can be difficult considering how big Japanese sudoku books usually are.

I love that amidst all the funny/false information he actually puts real facts about the japanese, such as the fact that the japanese president also worked as a delivery guy and that landlords are considered gods.

Omfg, I saw this video just a few weeks ago and thought to myself “Huggbees is going to make a parody of this”

You did not disappoint.

Didn't know that the people living on that small island west of Wales had such a fascinating way of life. Wat is it again, Jaypn?

Fun facts about Japan.
- Much like China, the language diverged dramatically between regions until a reunification effort happened (post Feudal era).
- Japan has 2 main religions (Shinto and (Zen) Buddhism). It's not uncommon for most people to flow through each of these throughout their lives.

I'm happy to see some great documentaries like this, really puts in to perspective how Japanese animated shows over-glamourize their lifestyles and make everything seem so amazing all the time.
