New to combat in Elite Dangerous, try this.

A quick video showing a trick I don't think a lot of people know - brought to my attention from a lot of new players in the squadron.

Miss the Early days as I tried and failed to build a ship that could survive a Haz Res because the police kept spoiling my fun. My War-Conda turned out to be overkill but fun. The Corvette added the ability to turn, which was nice.

That's how I started and what I always recommend. Far more fun than data courier missions.

I have murdered hundreds of thousands of pirates, killed over 2000 thargoids, including 15 basilisks, even a good hundred or so wedding barges are now smoldering wrecks but I am only considered “Deadly” rank. Meanwhile I’m Trade Elite V after a weekend in a platinum overlap system with my Carrier and exploration Elite 1 after a quick jaunt out and about for 7 months.

I seriously don't want to know how many Space Pirate Careers I already ended, these poor guys just want to feed their families XD
And I'm still nowhere near Duke Rank for the Empire ^^
I know I could do it more efficient wiht other mission types - but Bounty Hunting is just my thing and I bet at the end of it my -oversized Space Lamborghini- Imperial Cutter will feel well earned.

Just be careful of friendly fire, I was mining Hi Resource site. Security attacked a pirate nearby, so unloaded a couple shots. A Stray shot hit a security vehicle, and I was promptly smoked.

Of course, in an Eagle, that's about the only way.

Elite dangerous was a complicated game for and my dad taught me this….this is 90% of what i do in the game cuz im too dumb to figure out how to do the missions.

(I know how to do a couple of mission types)

if in colonia (as a new player HA) i like to go to research ships or carrier ships and help defend them from pirates good 30 ships per wave and never stops.

Thought that was a combat tutorial. Turns out there's no combat involved, just tagging a victim before it dies for easy bounties.

I haven’t had a problem in High Res sites as long as I wait until the enemy hull gets to <40%. I think the bounties are greater?
I got 1/4 million for pitching in on an Anaconda.

I downloaded Elite dangerous Horizons for free from Amazon Prime a couple of months ago. I'm running a fully equipped 4070 gaming system but my Graphics don't look as good as this. I've got everything set to Max what am I doing wrong?

Is it just a hit off in the hull like in ax or does shields also count

I did this is in starter galaxy with a [high]. I scanned and saw wanted. I targeted and waited for police to nearly kill them and then I finished off multiple ships. I never got any bounties/credits. What gives?
