The moody blues should have been in the hall on their first time of qualification. Not 20 years later.

Just my opinion, but one of the greatest musical and harmonic bands ever

It's a shame that Ray Thomas couldn't live long enough to join his band mates on stage. But it's better late than never I suppose. RIP Ray & Graeme. Thank you for the music.

The Moody Blues should have been inducted in the Hall of fame decades ago...! Better late than never...! One of the greatest bands ever! Justin Hayward--MUSICAL GENIUS!!!

Long overdue. One of the greatest bands I ever saw in concert.

Such a tragedy that it took so, SO long for the Moody Blues to finally be nominated, then inducted into the RRHoF. I would have loved to have seen flautist Ray Thomas (who passed away only 3 months prior to this event) on that stage, and to hear his whimsical words of wisdom that night. This band had been so deserving for this moment for so, SO long.

"I'm 77 years old...I don't have time!"
The BEST acceptance speech ever.

MOODIES RULE, best band of all time, Class, Quality, Brilliant live, Hauntingly beautiful songs, lyrics, guitars, drums, Rock and roll added. Versatile, Songwriters up there with Beatles but for me, Justin Hayward, best singer, songwriter, performer ever and a mean guitarist, too classy and inteligent for 2023. Should have been inducted into HALL of Fame over 20 years ago. THANK YOU MOODY BLUS FOR YOUR GENIUS

As a fan for over 50 years, no one has ever touched me the way the Moodies have. Their distinctive sound could never be duplicated. When a Moodies song came on, you knew it immediately. Thank you for the journey.

Nights in White Satin and Tuesday afternoon are two of the most beautiful songs in Rock history. The vocals by Justin are epic. I am 71 years old and have seen their live performances over a span of decades 12 times. It would send chills up my spine when they did Nights in White Satin.
One of the few bands that sounded like their recordings.

Denny Laine did a good job. He's in an awkward spot, but he was gracious and even made a joke about not being in the band very long.

I fell madly in love with Justin as a teenage girl in the sixties. Such a gorgeous man who looked like a Greek God and sung like an angel ❤❤

Justin Hayward —— good lord —— still so gorgeous. The hair — still looks the same. This man reeks of class and elegance. He even mentioned The Beatles. It was about time that they got inducted.

From Mike Pinder's website: 'Many MB fans have asked why I did not speak at the induction but by the time the Moodies took the stage we were 5 hours into the ceremony. The oldest of the inductees were up the latest. The speeches were a bit anti-climatic at that point and it was only fitting that the current touring members spoke first. I am happy that we finally got inducted for our fans sake'.
