(Working Method) I wanted ios 17.1 to 16.7 restore. I did the ipsw restore and tried this method of tweaking but error was there in iTunes windows. Then i changed the build version but still didn’t work. Lastly I thought what if i backup my current device any copy it’s 4 bottom files to the old backup. It gave me hope by displaying restore in progress on iphone thensaying corrupt backup, so didn’t work. Then i out of the blues kept all old files in old backup and just replaced the “Manifest.db” files with the same files from a new backup that i had created and it WORKED. Writing this to help yll. Thanks to this video as well that got me started. ✨❤
