Ultimately, when people are envious of animal lives, they're envious of the loving homes and supportive owners (love, affection, being able to express needs and wants with minimal backlash or genuine encouragement, you're hygiene outside of own grooming is taken care of with essentially spa days with groomers), an ease of burden (not fending for your own food, being allowed inside a home to live in, but to also go out and be played with, + exercise with long walks). It's rare to see someone say oh, they'd want to be a livestock dog, or a fighting dog, or a stray/ abandoned. You do see wild dog people, and power to 'em. They've been through it and don't blame 'em. People say similar about cats, and any domestic creature. It's what we crave. A loving pack and our basic needs met, without a constant threat of it being taken away at a moment's notice. Get taught manners and you're cared about. You do your extra tasks (tricks) and you get a nice extra yummy reward. Hope this caller gets through this time to better ones

I see a going trend of guys lowkey hating their life once they get addicted to video games, but once they realize it’s unfulfilling they have piddled away the portion of their youth where they actually had lots of free time. The sadness seems to usually be exacerbated by the realization that they could have learned how to do something cool like build hot rods or some type of art or or any hobby where you actually have something to show for it…
